Caius Petronius AD66 Quote

I found the quotation below a few years ago, how this applies to having and sticking to a  wildlife garden plan may seem a bit tenuous, but we are prone to changing things if we are not getting the results as quickly as we think we should.

"We trained hard, but it seemed that every time we were beginning to form up into teams, we would be reorganized.

I was to learn later in life, that we tend to meet any new situation by reorganizing, and a wonderful method it can
be for creating the illusion of progress, while producing confusion, inefficiency and demoralization."

Caius Petronius AD66.

Humans are still prone this way, we can easily lose focus, be distracted with some "new" idea or fad, trying to re-invent the wheel or garden design!
